Rocky Vista’s Southern Utah Gross Anatomy Laboratory is a well-lit 3250 square foot space dedicated to anatomical education and human cadaveric dissection. Have you ever seen an Anatomy lab, not in a basement? Our Anatomy Lab is located on the second floor of our amazing facility, with a beautiful view of the red mountains.
- Independent air ventilation system completely exchanges the air in the lab 12.5 times per hour.
- 17 student dissection stations with 4-6 students assigned to each cadaver.
- 2 dissection stations dedicated to surgical and procedural training for the rural and military track students.
- 2 Anatomy Fellow prosection stations for a demonstration with prosected cadavers.
- State of the art HD camera mounted in the ceiling above the Anatomy Fellow’s dissection stations to project prosected specimens for demonstration to students.
- 9 ceiling mounted 50-inch plasma TVs, and large projection screen to display cadaver dissections, PowerPoints, and videos.
