RVU Medical Response Team
At Rocky Vista University, the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff are our top priority. The Medical Response Team was created to address the safety, well-being, and health of our community. The MRT is made up of university leaders who meet regularly to develop policies and, if necessary, procedures to address public health concerns of significance to the RVU community. All decisions are informed by the team’s guiding principles, state, local, and federal healthcare, and public health data.
The Four Guiding Principles of the MRT are as follows:
- The safety and well-being of the RVU Community comes first, with respect to public health guidance and medical evidence.
- All decisions will be anchored in our core values.
- Our commitment to excellence in medical education will guide decisions as we adapt to the evolving situation.
- We are dedicated to educating the RVU Community with transparency and regular communications to promote informed decisions and personal responsibility.
