RVU Alum Dr. Meredith Ware awarded 2024 Timothy Judd, DO “Volunteer of the Year” Award
On July 7th, 2024, the Denver Osteopathic Foundation announced the winner of the 2024 Timothy Judd, DO “Volunteer of the Year” award. This year’s winner is RVU Alum Dr. Meredith Ware! Dr. Ware graduated from RVU in May of 2024. During her time at RVU, she served as the President of the Pediatrics Club and was an active member of DOF’s Food, Fun and Fitness (FFF) program.
Over the past three years, Dr. Ware served as a Student Representative on the DOF Executive Board. As a representative of this board, she co-founded and implemented a novel mentorship program known as Networking in Medicine. This program has matched nearly 100 RVU students with community physicians who shared similar career interests. Thanks to this program, RVU students have been able to find research opportunities, receive career advice, and gain exposure to the specialties they are interested in pursuing.
