Wendy Finch has dedicated her 20+ year career to higher education in Illinois, Arizona and now Colorado.  She joined RVU as a Clinical Career Advisor in May of 2022 after seven years as a registrar at an allopathic medical school, bringing with her extensive knowledge of medical school systems and processes. She has presented at several AAMC conferences, held a regional leadership position among student record professionals and currently sits on the AAMC’s VSLO Advisory Committee. Favorite aspects of her job include the evolving conversations she has with students over the course of their last two years in medical school and explaining processes, timelines and systems to help them reach their goals.  In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors (in the summer), yoga, creating art, gardening and spending time with her significant other, two cats and two donkeys.
