Bio

Dr. Donohue received her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from New Mexico State University, Las Cruces NM, and her PhD in Anatomy and Cell Biology from SUNY Upstate Medical University, Syracuse NY.

She recently joined us from the Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she was an Associate Professor of Anatomy and Cell Biology and served as the Department Chair. Prior to serving as founding faculty at Burrell, Dr. Donohue was an Assistant Professor at SUNY Upstate, teaching Gross Anatomy and Neuroanatomy. She is also currently a remote adjunct instructor for the Baptist Health Sciences University Neurodiagnostic program in Memphis, TN. Additionally, she is actively engaged in the American Society for Neurophysiological Monitoring and will transition from Chair of the Research committee to serving on the Board of Directors in May 2023.

Miriam is nationally certified as a USA Triathlon Coach and a US Masters Swim coach, as well as being certified to coach Adult Learn-to-Swim courses. She also enjoys many forms of arts and crafts, specifically hand-stitched beaded jewelry and drawing.
