Mark C. Lee, MD FACP, is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and currently serves as the Assistant Dean of Clinical Education and Graduate Medical Education at Rocky Vista University’s Montana College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Lee has had a lifelong career as a clinician-educator and subscribes to the education philosophy that we can touch more patients through the promotion of medical education. Prior to joining MCOM, Dr. Lee served in administrative, faculty, and clinical roles at Billings Clinic, RFU/Chicago Medical School, Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, University of Washington School of Medicine, University of New Mexico, and Mayo Clinic. He spent over two decades of his initial career at the Mayo Clinic and served as one of the longest standing Associate Directors for its Internal Medicine Residency Program. Having received his formal training at Stanford University, Dr. Lee has been inducted numerous times into the Teacher of the Year Hall of Fame, and he has over 50 peer-reviewed scientific publications. In his spare time, Dr. Lee enjoys relaxing with his wife and daughter, with occasional indulgences in fishing, crafting bamboo flyrods, and stocking his trout ponds.
