ABOUT DANIEL:

A true Midwesterner, Dr. Chappell was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Brigham Young University and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Touro University – Nevada. He completed a residency in Family Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

 For the past six years, Dr. Chappell has worked as a family physician at Ogden Clinic in Ogden, Utah. Of his inspiration to practice medicine, Dr. Chappell points to his patients. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Utah Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Board of Family Practice.

 He is excited to work with RVU’s students and contribute to the medical education in Utah as Regional Clinical Director for the Northern Utah Region.
