“Healthcare is changing rapidly with new expectations to be able to utilize technology and software to help others. Things like artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, remote monitoring, telemedicine, and the ethics of these pursuits are critical for how medicine will be practiced in the future. I’m very excited to be a part of the first effort in the country to train medical students in all of these areas to enable them to be change-makers moving forward.”
When asked to share his favorite place to have ever visited, he said, “Hanoi, Vietnam was a fascinating place that I have visited most recently. I have a hard time picking a favorite because my wife and I love to explore food and cultures all over the world.
