Brett Condon, PhD, is the Assistant Professor of Physiology. Dr. Condon got his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in Physiology and Developmental Biology. He then completed two years at Wake Forest University School of Medicine before changing career paths to graduate school at Duke University. At Duke, Dr. Condon earned his PhD in Biochemistry with certificates in Cellular and Molecular Biology as well as College Teaching. He then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in STEM Education at Drexel University while staffing their Center for the Advancement of STEM Teaching and Learning Excellence. As a faculty member, he was trained by the Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning to advance learning in STEM. He was then hired as an Assistant Professor of Biology where he headed the Howard Hughes Medical Institute’s Science Education Alliance programs at Drexel. Dr. Condon is thrilled to be an inaugural faculty at MCOM with like-minded administrators and faculty committed to evidence-based pedagogy. He is married with three children and loves playing and watching sports (including e-sports), reading (especially Sci-Fi/Fantasy), and family movie nights.
