July 23, 2021 | CRT Update Dear RVU Family: Bringing back students and employees to campus has been both a blessing and a challenge. We enjoy the comraderie of being able to interact with our colleagues and students in person; it’s wonderful to once again see people in the halls of RVU. The challenge arises as we, members of the CRT, are faced with creating new processes to ensure the on-going safety and well-being of our community. Our students and employees are also faced with learning new guidelines. These are uncharted times for all of us.  We ask for your patience and understanding as we continue to monitor CDC guidelines and best practices in an effort to preserve the well-being of members of our community as well as our loved ones who may not be vaccinated. As communites are opening back up, the COVID-19 infection rate varies dependant in part on the vaccination level of the population. Some areas of the country are reinstating the mask mandate as a surge in cases is noted. July 15, 2021 | Campus Events Including Guests During Phase Green Hello Everyone, As we roll into Phase Green we realize that there may be occasions when you would like to have special guests on campus for curricular and other types of educational or administrative events.  In order to maintain a standard of safety for our employees and students, we have created a request form for these occasions. This form, link below, provides a method for you to submit the details of your event and select an approver from the list of Vice Presidents or other designees.  Approvers will be given a set of guidelines to use in assessing these events for safety and will let you know if the event is approved, declined or approved with recommendations.  This form is for employee use only.  Students should continue to use the Event Form created and approved by the Directors of Student Life. June 25 2021 | CRT Update June 25, 2021 Dear RVU Family, We did it! Thanks to the commitment of our employees and students to keep our community safe, we have reached our goal to move forward to Phase Green! To date 90% of our students in CO and 89% in UT have provided proof of vaccination. On the employee side, 91% are compliant in CO and 89% in Utah. If you have not yet uploaded your proof of vaccination, please do so as soon as possible so these numbers can be pushed even higher. If you need an accommodation or exemption and haven’t already submitted the appropriate paperwork, please do so immediately. Effective July 1, we will be transitioning to Phase Green! What this means is that as of next Thursday, all employees and students who are fully vaccinated will no longer have to complete the attestation form, wear a mask while on campus or practice social distancing. While we are excited about welcoming our community back to campus, we also recognize that all employees don’t necessarily need to be back on campus full time by July 1 unless in essential roles or needed as determined by their supervisor.
